Why the fuck would you measure takedown defense as a raw value?! Surely you should weight it against their opponent's relative takedown success rate. Oh no, that might actually require thinking.
Surely defending the takedown of someone who is good at securing takedowns should be more valuable than defending a takedown against vagner rocha.
His TDD over his UFC/WEC career is 64.7%, just his UFC career is 92%. No idea what the 87.5% comes from.
If you do weighted averages where all his opponents are rated based on his opponent with the best TD offense and do a product of their rated TD offense and Cerrone's TDD in those fights then you wind up with about 45% for his career in the UFC/WEC and 70% for his UFC/WEC career. Might not be the best way to do it but it's a little less misleading.
