Sad but true.

Its a shame that elements from professional wrestling are still prevalent in modern MMA, in fact I'd say if anything they only increase its exposure as so many flock to drama. I loved Pederneiras approach though, seems he understands you have to play the game if you want to stick around in a sport that is seemingly always changing (for better or worse is for you to decide).

Seems like a guy I'd like to have a beer with.

I've thought Pederneiras was the man since I saw him look at his watch, then the clock and frown after Shaolin Ribeiro got choked the fuck out by Marcelo Garcia in like 15 seconds.

Those are called theatrics, and are in no way exclusive to pro wrestling.
