Dude is a beast for sure, was surprised at some of his losses in the UFC. He always either looked insanely dominant or got subbed.

He was always an interesting fighter to me, one of the only competitive bodybuilders I know of to make a successful transition to MMA (by successful I mean making it to the UFC and getting a couple W's). Also that he is a fighter who is not against moving weight classes, he started his MMA career as a Heavyweight, then moved to LHW, then to middleweight, and his last fight he had he went back up to LHW.

I enjoyed his fighting style. It was cool watching him dominate some of his opponents with brute force and solid technique; hardly a recipe for success against the elite in his division, i know, but very entertaining.

He also narrow the gap between bodybuilder and MMA combatant, which is equally interesting.

Those guys fought mostly in Japan. European mma organizations are pretty weak. So yeah it could be quite easy to rack up wins fighting in Europe.

I'd rather see what he can do just at the Bellator level first before coming back to UFC. He was extremely sloppy and had terrible cardio, hopefully he's worked on that.

He has not been beating top competitors, and his next fight is against a 4-5 guy.
Still, he is a fun fighter. It is rare that he goes to a decision.
Vemola is supposed to be fighting Piotr Strus (9-2) next Friday at the MMAA Arena 3 event in Czech Republic. Strus is no slouch, he's a KSW vet and he has wins over Matt Horwich and Krzystof Kulak. He's 2-2 in his last couple but whoever gets a win in this one will be getting signed somewhere at least in Europe.
