At this point with Nog's chin being as tested as it has and his recent submission losses I really believe that this fight borderlines on a toss up. Nelson has been in there with some of the toughest and strongest opponents the entire sport has to offer and at least made it to the final bell. I can't even picture Nog doing that anymore.

I would like it if Nog got a KO but it's pretty unlikely. Nelson will be hard to take down and submit. Basically, that equates to them having a slug fest and in reality that does favor Nelson.

Unless Nelson lands a whopper, Nog should win this via multiple jabs to the face for 15 minutes. Despite losing, his striking has been consistently on point lately.

I don't think people quite realize, but Nog has outstruck every opponent he's fought since getting KO'd by Cain.

I think if Mir can tool Roy, so can Nog. Big Country only looks good against guys outside the top 10 with iffy chins. Nog has two recent losses but they were submission losses where he was beating up Mir and Werdum in the standup.

I love Nog, but I feel like this is a bad style match up for him.

Nog's greatest strength is his grappling of course. Nelson is an excellent grappler with great BJJ and underrated wrestling skills. He has also gone 3 rounds on numerous occasions and I think he'll have enough in the tank to keep pace with Nog.

Big Nog has good boxing to, but Roy has something Big Nog has never had: Mind numbing power. Couple that in with the fact that Nog's chin has been fading and that Roy's chin is made of titanium and I feel like Roy's gonna KO him.

Sig bet with Pixelated for Cain/Werdum. Stranger aeons Cain may gas.

THIS. People seem to be ignoring that he was winning the standup against both Mir and Werdum (both of whom easily ran through Nelson).

The thing about zombie Nog is, there are always a lot of doubters,

he too often proves them wrong,

I'll pick him against Nelson,

He was winning that Werdum fight in the standing imo...

Nelson KO or UD. Nog won't have an answer.
