As an American with half Irish blood, I honestly didn't even know the band's name. It just sounds like a fucking generic song in any context.
I admit, I don't know much about Irish music so I picked the Cranberries due to the childhood influences and that most Americans would recognize it. Anything's better than U2 amirite? I just miss 90's rock!
