The brazilians do have good lead leg bodykicks. Often with a switch. Alves, Aldo, Barboza and Anderson Silva..

lol at Machida throwing switch kicks , I cant even think of one time ive seen him throw a switch kick , although im sure he probably has .

Machida is a southpaw , he already has open side (liver) open to his rear power leg without having to use a switch kick ,
Thanks man! The best part is, I'm getting better at writing these things more quickly, and at not rambling on so much. I tend to want to put everything I can think of into every article, but that hurts the readability. I'm glad you see some improvement.

You're both spot on with the Brazilian Muay Thai guys. Barboza in particular has good switch kicks, as does Aldo. Elias Silverio also showed some really nice ones against Isaac Vallie-Flagg on the Fight Night Atlanta card last week.

I'm very fond of the rhythmic approach Cerrone takes to kicking, though. I think he is the essence of a rhythm fighter. Once he finds his rhythm, he's a very dangerous guy; when he doesn't get the chance to find it, he looks eminently beatable.

There's not much worse than someone mouthing off about something they know nothing about.

Please actually know what you're talking about next time.

You're expecting people who only speak when they know what they are talking about?

This is Sherdog; we don't take kindly to those types around here

Cung le throws lead kick no switch so smoothly people dont even remember where it came from. Except joe rogan who jizzes when Le fights because he loves that style.

This. He cheated, but not as bad.

It's more like he took an extra step forward before the starting gun, rather than doing something that just makes you run faster than everyone else

Do you blame Joe? I know I don't. I love watching both Cerrone and Le
