Machida is a southpaw , he already has open side (liver) open to his rear power leg without having to use a switch kick ,
Thanks man! The best part is, I'm getting better at writing these things more quickly, and at not rambling on so much. I tend to want to put everything I can think of into every article, but that hurts the readability. I'm glad you see some improvement.

You're both spot on with the Brazilian Muay Thai guys. Barboza in particular has good switch kicks, as does Aldo. Elias Silverio also showed some really nice ones against Isaac Vallie-Flagg on the Fight Night Atlanta card last week.
I'm very fond of the rhythmic approach Cerrone takes to kicking, though. I think he is the essence of a rhythm fighter. Once he finds his rhythm, he's a very dangerous guy; when he doesn't get the chance to find it, he looks eminently beatable.
