That's the way I saw it too. I thought Hendricks won 48-47, but if GSP was ready to go down he wouldn't have had the chance or power to knock Hendrick's mouthguard out.
Saying that saved GSP seems like a huge long shot (about as legit as the folks claiming Hendrick's tapped). Common folks, GSP won a questionable decision, like Jones won a quesionable decision over Gus, like Machida won a questionable decision over Shogun. It happens. Don't make up imaginary finishes, it really doesn't help.
