there's still hope for Barboza, and he's also 10× the striker Griffin was.

it DEFINATELY isn't normal to be DROPPED by a jab, Especially if you're competing in this sport at a High level.

The highest level fighters understand that heart and chin are IMPORTANT in MMA lol, so they HAVE found ways to improve there, and the ones that Don't.... well....
They usually don't become champion.

It's like expecting to be UFC champ and NOT working on one of the most important aspects of the game.

good thing Cerrone did jump on his back. Castillo went to pound him out but could not get it done and gassed himself out. He did go kockeyed from the jab. Cerrone also knocked down Razor Rob with that jab.

Definately- Many fighters seem to get 'Caught up' in trying to finish a a hurt or gassed opponent with strikes, when they COULD easily lock up a submission and CLEANLY, more professionally IMO finish it off.

I understand that many people are 'more comfortable' trying to finish with strikes, but a part of this sport is managing your energy and figuring out what the most EFFICIENT way is, in ANY situation.

Only a moron would connect that with the amount of power in a fighter's hands.

Well, he was outclassing Cerrone on the feet before he got dropped, I don't know what you are talking about here (regarding Cerrone). His striking is top notch for sure. It's just his defense that is lacking and he didn't react well being pushed either (Varner).

You guys talking about striking and getting dropped by a jab sound like retards fighting over a peanut. He made a crucial mistake in footwork squaring up with Cerrone and that's why he got hurt. Cerrone capitalized perfectly and that's why he's an amazing finisher with come from behind wins.

Secondly, if his chin was that bad, he would have been out stiff by a few of the shots Cerrone landed earlier. Ben Henderson was champ, and he got dropped almost every single fight until recently. But he improved his defense and it's been swept under the rug. He got hurt in exchanges with Clay Guida and a 5th round arm punch by Frankie, and you guys bitch about getting rocked by a shot from Cerrone?
