correct me if I'm wrong, please.
It's like I said, if he fights at 115 he might be smallish in the cage because his nutritionist emphasizes lengthy, gradual cuts. So it's pretty pointless to suggest he move down classes based on how much he weighs relative to his opponent in the cage. But that's what fans see, so that's what they base it on. They assume everybody's cutting routine is the same.

The things that should dictate weight class are walkaround/natural weight and reach. And believe it or not, Sergio's reach (69-69.5" listed) is actually above average for a bantamweight, and his walkaround is about average in the mid to upper 150's. So bw is where he belongs.

@Ray Zuffo: Thank you @danawhite for the tickets!!

With that said, I am gunna be in Chicago for this card so I am pumped cuz this fight should be fireworks!
I agree with you.

But it just sounds funny that a grown man would have to "add muscle" to fight at 135.

That's BS. I get it with Nick and Nate because they fight the same style of fight. But Anthony and Sergio are two very different fighter.

When the Ravens come a knockin', RUN BITCH!!!!!!!!!!

Ryan Bader was doing really good against Glover until he wasn't.

When you're 20 years old and already having major issues fighting at the weight class you're obviously not meant to be at the division long term, so why fight a losing cause?

We're in a great era of MMA, stop bitching about every little insignificant detail.
