I saw Werdum at the ADCC that was in New Jersey. Although I couldn't understand a thing he said, his body language suggested that he has a ridiculous temper.

lol, no. from what I remember it was Babalu who went full crazy, run around the house to find Sarafian, then got into his face, started talking trash and Werdum did a couple of remarks insinuating things could go wrong if they were on the street. He didn't challenge Daniel to fight or anything similar though, it was addressing the conflict he caused to Babalu who was fucking raging and seemed like he wanted to kill him for telling Forte about that particular training.

Werdum always comes accross as a very intelligent, nice dude in all interviews and that's also known among his peers and several fighters. You are taking his goofy act on the house way too seriously.

The joke is on you mister.
This is how you got it? A little bit biased don't you think so?
"Couple of remarks"? Gimme a break fanboy. As professional you can't let things go that way in front of cameras.

No he is not. He is one of the cockiest guys in the business (one of the reasons he lost so brutally to JDS). Always had a big mouth, always came up with excuses after his losses... became low profile after a lot of criticism.

I didn't get offended by it, that's for sure, why should I remember each and every word that came out of his mouth? You're the one being biased against him imo and making it look like it was a huge deal. Babalu is one of Werdum's best friends+longtime training partners, he was upset by the incident (like all the team as a matter of fact) and said a couple of things out of anger in front of the cameras... is that really a big deal? seriously? it wasn't even a threat or a challenge to fight! have you never said things in the heat of the moment that later you regret? come on man. way worse things have been said in the fighting world and several past american TUF editions, you can't always be cold headed, all the time, in an environment as such.

He lost the JDS fight because 1) he didn't train properly, was way out of shape (not from being cocky, more so being lazier and not taking MMA as seriously as he does now - you know, people learn from their mistakes and try to improve, mad props at him for changing his life) 2) Cigano is a fucking beast.

If you see him that way, that's ok since it's your opinion and deserves respect but, sorry, not many people think like you! Also, the excuses thing is very subjective... saying he overtrained for the second Overeem fight and admitting lack of preparation in past defeats aren't necessarily excuses but facts if you choose to believe him or not. Going by that logic, then EVERY fighter makes excuses after a defeat. I could probaby give 10 worse examples of just fellow big name brazilian fighters alone lol .

Always insightful in interviews, well respected among his MMA peers and in the BJJ world. Go ask them if he is one of the cockiest: Wand, Mirko, Shogun, Jacare, Vinny, Fabio Gurgel, Mario Reis, Romulo Barral, Pe de Pano, Cobrinha, Serginho, Pezao, Minotauro while we are at it and the list goes on and on!
