That would be an awesome idea.

If they do Punk/Taker the Shield should interfere. Then similarly to Rollins/Langston on NXT the locker room should clear (at least 7 or 8 midcarders) and chase the Shield off, then Undertaker makes his comeback and wins.

Is NXT on TV or online?

What do you guys think about having two champions since the shows aren't separate anymore? Isn't the WHC just the secondary title, basically? Any chance they'll re-unify them, maybe at WM 30?

Depends where you are, buy I'm sure you can find it online.

But, before you do, watch Season Three, perhaps the funniest series of shows WWE ever did. Purely for Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and others just fucking around. CM Punk joins on commetary to make a three man booth briefly as well.

Then, look at Season 5 (Redemption), but it gets REALLY good a few months in when they abandoned the Contests and just made it a straight wrestling show.

I'm starting to wonder if Kevin Dunn realized what was happening on my favorite rarely seen show, Main Event. The first few weeks were great, when they'd have two medium to big name guys not only have an extended showcase match, but also hype it with video packages and pre and post match interviews making who won and lost actually seem important. Lately though it's been all recaps, Ryback squashes, and multi-man tags.

They always do what with the new shows. They have a couple of big names on there, and then when it's settled in, they remove them. Cena and Orton were on the first episode of SuperStars, then took them off.

The thing is though they don't even need the biggest guys for the formula. One of the best episodes was Ziggler vs. Miz. God forbid they follow a format that would make people care about a mid-card feud though.

That's what happened with NXT Redemption, they had these great stories, it was fun, you had Maxine and Curtis bickering amongst themselve, Reks and Hawkins causing havok, the Primetime Players just being the Primetime Players, and then there was Maxine's ring gear that made it even better.

Then, someone just said "No characters, No storylines, just have the matches"

I don't know if you guys follow these "The Masked Man" columns on Grantland. Sometimes they're pretty good.

Shows like Main Event and Superstars should be to promote the mid card. Watching Superstars as a kid, it was a rare event to see the World Champ wrestle. He might be promoted, but rarely would he wrestle.
