Are you seriously comparing Hendricks and Diaz to Cung Le and Weidman? Diaz is without a doubt one of the very best WW's in the world and arguable just beat Condit. Cung Le is nowhere near as big of a threat to Anderson as Weidman.

No, a special kind of stupid is claiming that because Silva is eventually fighting Weidman because he became the only logical fight and if he didn't fight him it would be blatantly obvious that Silva was ducking him that that means Silva didn't try to not fight Weidman. As the other poster pointed out, that's like saying Tito never tried to Chuck just because they eventually fought.

Based on what logic? The difference in GSP wanting to take a bigger PPV fight with Diaz is that Diaz is actually a great fighter and Hendricks isn't very obviously a tougher fight for GSP like Weidman is for Silva over Cung Le. Cung Le is a laughable opponent for Silva to request, short reach and plodding/slow on his feet, he'd have no chance.
