Booker got his push because he ran with the gimmick, and Sheamus had already won the WWE title twice before KotR. Additionally, he didn't win the world title until almost 18 months after it.

I remembered him winning the KotR. The thought of him becoming WWE Champ or WHC didnt cross my mind though. Looking back its possible but why was his first feud with Kennedy coming off KotR?

Kennedy was a huge fan favorite at the time.

That's the point I was making with Ryback, you have a guy who get's called back up after what was said to be a horrific injury when he was in The Nexus, then they bring him back, new name, new character, and he got himself over really well as a babyface in a relatively short time for a new guy (despite his run as Skip Sheffield, he was treated like a new guy).
I makes absolutely zero sense to turn him, especially when they don't need to, and it just stinks of a certain somebody wanting to cut the momentum that has built up in the new babyface.

Regal's run was derailed not just because he got popped, but more because he had a serious problem and needed to go to rehab.
Just getting busted, doesn't necessarily mean your getting fired. There are a lot of things that happen behind the scenes that we may not know about.
