I forgot to mention that after the stair climb (which is the first activity), I will be wearing a 50lb pound vest for the remainder of the test.

Thanks cl! I love the gif!
Also KT, last thing I forgot to add, we have to drag a 175lb dummy a certain distance and back. I'm pretty sure that is everything we are doing today.

Sounds like a good workout, Moose. I'm sure you'll kill it.

Okay sooooooo funny story. It was the cpat ORIENTATION today. They introduced us to the cpat and had us go through a practice run. I'm kind of mad since the person who called me to let me know that I was moving to the next phase didn't let me know that this was just the orientation. It's not to bad since I got 8 weeks to get better but still, I was ready today. Oh well, I'm still in the application process and I have a chance to get better. Sorry guys

aw man, that's a bummer. At least you have another 8 weeks to prepare even more!

True, I was just so ready. Oh well. I'm just wandering if the guy who called me did tell me that it was an orientation and I missed it, or if he forgot to. I'm pretty sure I would have caught that.

So you have another 8 weeks of Prep Time? Dude... it's like you're Batman!
And Batman always wins. It's an unbreakable law of the universe; he could cure cancer with a carton of ciggerettes. With eight weeks of Prep Time, Bats could make God his prison bitch, so I'm sure you'll pass CPAT with no problem!

Dude, with 8 weeks prep time, I'll be given the position of fire chief
So today, no lifting, went to the football stadium for the college here in town, loaded up my backpack with 75lbs and did some bleachers. No running obviously, just going to same pace as I would on the cpat test. Did a few laps on the bleachers.
I wish I had a weight vest since that is what we will be using for the actual cpat and it's easier, but I'm not paying over $100 for one. So I'm just using my backpack for now.
