Let's dispell some myths here

1. Creatine is the 2nd most studied supplement EVER (protein being #1). There have never been any known ill effects aside from people with allergies or exasperating an already existing kidney issue.

2. You will not lose your gains after use.

3. If you purchase pharmaceutical grade supplements than you will not have to worry about quality as they have to undergo rigid testing in order to claim that title. I purchase mine directly from a lab

4. If you use Creatine Ethyl Ester then you will not retain any water. Although there have been conflicting reports as to the effectiveness of ethyl ester.

5. Creatine is ridiculously cheap. You can find creatine online that is unflavored for like $20 that will last you the next 5 months.

Better endurance , better pumps, strength gains , size gains & progress with no ill effects , why would anyone not want to take it? Its stood the test of time and has been around for about 18-20 years now , all quotes that link it to kidney damage are unfounded as far as ive read.

Taxing on your kidneys is the only negative effect, which is null if you drink plenty of water. If you like to drink and party, do not take creatine- if you are serious about training and live a healthy lifestyle, there really isn't a reason not to.

My father once tried creatine when he was younger (powerlifting days) and he said he could almost feel his blood pressure rising, gave him significant sweats as well.
