Got set back about a month from xmas/new years cheat meals. Pretty incredible, but back down to my lowest weight now, in part by trying extended fasts of 24 hours and only having 1 meal a day.

Weight chart updated on page 1. Want to finally break into the 240s. Meanwhile my body comp continues to progress, I have a LOT more muscle now than I had just 4 months ago:

Some recent food porn:

Rotisserie chicken. A (fucking mindblowing) cauliflower mash with bacon, cheddar, cream cheese, sour cream, a few tbsps of greek yogurt and avocado salsa. The mash was
fucking insane - probably the tastiest contraption I have made and way better than potatoes.

New wrap thing i'm trying for lunch. 7-8 g net carb. 12.5 g fiber
2 slices cheddar, sharp - 160
80 - low carb tortilla
75 - pepperoni
150 - chicken rotisserie with skin
50 - few almond slices
140 - bacon ranch dressing, this shit is so good and has little chunks of bacon in it
---
~500-550 calories

Recently made these wings, they were insanely good.

http://peaceloveandlowcarb.blogspot....alo-wings.html

I have officially accomplished my original goal of below 250 lbs. My current goal is 220, but I recall thinking that getting to 250, from 440+ was fucking impossible. Not anymore gentlemen.

So, weight update. I am 245.4 now and have lost about 5 lbs in the last week, coincided to a pause in lifting due to trying to find a new gym, the weight was probably from retained water and feces (gross I know, but you can now see a more accurate picture of my weight). I seem to report weight loss on weekends that I am by myself, and have the opportunity to weigh in at noon. Probably more dehydration/less water upon waking, better BMs and less stress.

Weight chart updated and so is the google doc with complete chart data.

Some new elements have been introduced into my diet recently. I have been having some low sugar (1 gram/serving) creamer with my coffee, as well as artificial sweetener. These sweeteners aren't the greatest, ideally I would use stevia instead of a dextrose cut sweetener like splenda, or even a xylitol, but thems the breaks right now. I also have been eating greek yogurt (not recently, but generally), a variety of new nuts and nut/seed based butters, sour cream, heavy cream, low-carb tortillas (6 g net), low carb cheese cake
and a lot of bleu cheese and other fatty dressings.

I have also been experimenting with new macros and meal timing. I am eating more fat and less protein, relatively speaking, have starting supplementing with broth regularly and in the past two weeks have, on most days, only eaten one 1200-1800 calorie meal a day after a 22-24 hour fast. This eating schedule seems demonstrably effective at breaking plateaus, but further time and research will tell.

I am a little worried about the (international delight low sugar) creamer. It contains HFCS, and I do not want it to act as a coefficient in stunting my weight loss. I am thinking about making my own creamer, based on heavy cream, naturally flavored and enhanced with natural sweeteners like stevia. I also think that the greek yogurt may lead me to bloat and retain some weight when I eat it, at least on some days. Ditto for the almond/sunflower butters I have been experimenting with. ALl these things are fucking delicious, but some simple baked chicken in butter/oil with a bleu cheese dip, chia seeds seems to suit me best for general weight loss.

Lastly I wonder how much my extra skin relates to weight. I have a feeling that I have about 20 lbs of extra skin - because I feel very cut under the flabby parts, and it's not fat, but extra skin. I also am significantly smaller than others who are just 20-30 lbs heavier than me, most people say I look like i'm around 200-210.

Been experimenting with making my own creamer to get rid of the HFCS crap in my daily diet:

I gotta say I am impressed with your progress. I am just starting my weight loss journey (again) and I am optimistic this time out. I actually started originally about the same time as you but gave up along the way and gained the weight back...a familiar story for many trying to lose weight.

Anyway, when you say you have a lot of extra skin, is it to the point of being a bit odd looking without your shirt on? Like if you were at the beach would it be obvious you are a former fat guy? I hope that isn't too personal, I was just wondering.
