That's one thing I liked was when the Warrior had the title, and they changed the colour of the leather. I remember a white one, a yellow one, a blue and maybe a purple one. They could do that as well.
Like Barrett's IC title, he could have the strap blue or red, Cesaro's US title could be White or Red. Del Rio's belt could be white, green or red, Team Hell No could have a Red Strap on theirs. Just adds some character to it.

Yeah I remember Greg Valentine destroying the green belt in a cage match after losing it to Tito in Baltimore being the reason Tito got the classic design. That green one was fucking ugly as sin though with the eagle that stuck out.

Agreed. Very ugly.
I liked the idea of the strap being an extension of the title holder. This opinion is not for the (various) world title. Fucking Jeff Hardy.

Keep the plates the same, but change the strap. Hell, I could see Big Show putting a Camo strap on a title, Punk going with yellow, Sheamus with a green one.Ryder with Purple or Orange.
When Austin brought in the Smoking Skull belt, it made sense, because 1). The character was to piss Vince off, what better way to piss Vince off than discarding his belt and using your own (on top of that, Austin kept on cutting his chin when he carried it on his shoulder, so he went with a thinner design). But Hardy doing it is just "Ooooh, I'm so artistic".

Hardy's belt should be burned. For me, TNA's world title is the best looking belt out of the two companies.

It's being reported that The Rock has committed to working Wrestlemania 30 next year. Current schedule is he'll be a regular part of TV through April, then he goes to film Hercules, and comes back in time for Survivor Series in August.
