Pink stretch-rope drawstring?

I cannot find anyone who sells pink stretch-rope drawstrings. I want to replace the flat drawstring on one of my gis.

I have looked locally at hardware and craft/fabric stores, an no-one sells the type that come with gis. I was thinking about just buying a white one and dying it pink, but I am concerned that the dye would 1) Not soak into the drawstring fabric or 2) Rub of on my white gi or someone else's white gi.

Has anyone tried dying a drawstring before?

Thanks, I had checked them out before. They only have red, white, navy, and neutral. strings They have pink-tipped drawstrings, but not pink strings.

Get white ones and dye them.

That is one of the ideas I mentioned in my first post, but do I need to be concerned with the dye turning my or my teammates white gis pink?

My friends dyes everything with rit. It works amazing if you follow instructions. I would wash it a couple times after dying it so it locks in and won't bleed.
