I know. To me it was much more impressive to catch it on Herring though. Their first fight Herring slipped out of every sub attempt Nog could throw at him and their second fight was equally hard fought. The sub to top it off was incredible I think.

I'm with you on that. I hate it that Mir was the 1st to stop Nog (albeit when he was dealing with staph) then actually sub him in the rematch. Not to make excuses but this was the second time a ref's warnings kind of bailed Mir out (Nog changed position and it changed everything) of very bad situations that he then scored a sub. Brock I was the first.

Id rather a ref warn about back of the head shots then to stop the fight and award a dq. Fact is both times Mir ended up in a disadvantaged position after the warnings and managed to recover and submit.
