This is the first time we will see GSP fight with emotion since Penn II
Everyone will agree that GSP is a pretty nice guy and at times doesn't seem to have that "killer instinct" just has the athletic ability to put himself above everyone else.
Let's look at times where GSP fought with actual negative emotion and not just a "go out there and win" mentality.
GSP/Penn II. Allllll the shit talking Penn did leading up to this fight about GSP clearly made GSP want to shut Penn and put an ! at the end of it. At the time, we had never seen Penn beat like that, let alone on the ground (which we still haven't really seen much of)
GSP/Trigg. Trigg was talking about how GSP didn't deserve a shot at him and this is a stepping stone to get another fight with Hughes, etc. etc. GSP absolutely made Trigg pay for his words.
GSP/Serra II. Now he may not of fought with anger in this fight, but he clearly wanted to prove the first fight wouldn't happen again and put on a clinic against Serra.
All I'm saying is that GSP has CLEAR disdain for Nick Diaz. He wants to shut him up for all the shit he was been saying over the last year and a half. I'm just not expecting GSP to go out there and "play it safe" as some people would call it, I think he really wants to make a statement on Nick Diaz.
