What is Bellator doing with its bantamweight division?
They have three contenders for Pat Curran at 145 and zero for the winner of Dantas/Galvao. Anyone know when the next tourney is supposed to take place and who all is involved? Even rumors would suffice at this point.

Summer Series 2013 will feature BWs is what I've heard. And it makes the most sense since, as you said, it needs contenders.

Yeah BW has to be in the summer but what about HW? They really need to do BW/HW in the summer, dont know how they will do it with only three shows in the summer but you hvae a HW champ in Volkov sitting around with no tournament in site.

They should have done a BW tourney instead of this FW one that is currently taking place. As much as I'm enjoying it, do we really need another contender when Rad/Shah hasn't even been decided yet?
I hope it's not some bullshit like they need to wait for Joe Warren to finish filming Fight Master.

Agreed, I like the fact Curran could fight four times this year but they really didnt need to do it, they had Pitbull, DS and Rad/SS fighting which is good enough for a years worth of title fights.
Even LW, they had Chandler/Hawn and Jansen/Held plus if they get Alvarez back, they could have held off on a LW tournament till the summer or fall.
I know LW/FW are two of their big divs and they wanted to come out strong on Spike but they really need BW/HW title contenders more.

They really, really overreacted to Dantes losing a fight. he is a really good, top line fighter. Losses happen. Were they actually trying to pretend he was already teh #1 guy in the world at the weight? He is still good.

i was shocked they didn't host BW tournament this season, way too much talent in that division waiting around too fight
