I can eat everything in sight and am a professional "bulker" (i'm also extremely good at weight cutting for fights, problem is i'm a binge eater in between fights which makes my life much harder). My problem is I don't know how to begin lifting, I work out daily for fights but it's all pushups/situps/pullups/squats type of deal, I want to put on like 15 pounds of muscule and move up 2 or so weight classes. When I research how to properly lift/get a bulk routine I just always get 1000 different answers/routines and then my head hurts and I eat an entire cake in depression.

As a fighter, you'll want to do a program like Starting Strength twice per week instead of three times per week like the program calls for. Once you can't progress on that, switch to the 5/3/1 program and do the two days per week option. There's a ton more info in the S&C subforum if you're interested.

Dieting is harder on the wallet for me. Not hard... just harder. I'm doing a round of RFL for about 200ish a month in groceries.

I always take in more protein when dieting than with bulking.
when i cut on a budget, my diet consists usually of egg whites, lean chicken, and a bunch of fruits n veggies.
sometimes i throw almond milk into there to take with protein.

I know where you are going! and agree to an extend. The thing is that if I eat a lot of sodium then, I would have to train more to keep myself muscular and not bloated.
Whats your take on the topic?

PS Great article for some people www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_nutriti on/sodium_your_secret_weapon

personally i don't really have issues with sodium, i just know that when people use a vague term like "low sodium" i find it helps them to ask them define what the term means, ithelps weed out people who read nutrition magazines and go "sodium is bad!" and people like you who actually understand how their body works.
