Shoyoroll Batch 14 Competitor Gis

I would really like for Shoyoroll to release a serious, heavy gold weave gi. Something just tough and durable like the Atama gold with an extra thick twill collar.

Just got my blue competitor. It is a pretty nice looking/fitting gi, and I like the rip stop pants a lot better than my atama mundial #9s. I soaked the gi in vinegar and water when I opened it, and have washed it twice today already. I'm having the hardest time getting the smell of mothballs and pakistani sweat shop out of the gi, and hate being the smelly guy in class.

I noticed a heavier than usual smell as well.

My rio koi and lew v3 still smell like old people's basement. My others washed out quick.

Fabric Softener does the trick, as does any odor eliminating product that people typically use.

Might have to give the fabric softener a go. I have to use hypoallergenic detergent so my skin doesn't break out, but I'd rather be itchy than smell like old ladies.

My Her Honor smelled HORRIBLE. I washed it 2x before training in it, and even after 3 more washes, the smell remained.

I finally added a cupful of vinegar to my next wash, and about 95% of the smell is gone.

My Competitor has the same smell but not as strong, so it'll probably come out fairly easily.

I know you already vinegar soaked it, but try washing it again with some vinegar and see if that helps.

lol just roll in it. the smell will come out immediately. Rolled from package to the mat in my rio koi and charles lew v3, washed, smelled like my liquid fabric softener.
