The Iron Sheik is not pleased about the International Olympic Committee's decision to remove wrestling from the Olympics starting in 2020. The Sheik wrote the following to TMZ.

I'm seriously pissed at wrestling being thrown out of the games. To put it at the same level as wakeboarding is fucking ridiculous. Blatantly the fact that Iran, Georgia and Azerbaijan win medals annoys advertisers that would much prefer the US, Russia or China, so they've thrown their weight around. The IOC executive are so blatantly corrupt that they just bent over backwards.

MMA's never getting in. It needs a genuine international governing body to start with, and Zuffa don't count. At best you'd get amateur MMA in, as no-one's gonna give up a year or two of their UFC career to go for the Olympics.
