Interesting fight, Rumble has shown more depth recently, his takedowns attempts will randomize it a bit. Fun fight.

Usually when these kinda fights happen (Lighter guy moves up to Heavier division, more so LHW to HW) they usually win by pushing the pace on the slower opponent, but on the contrary the HWs usually win by superior chin/imposing will.

Can Andrei's chin hold up? Can he slow down Rumble? Thats what we will see coming WSOF 2.

I am curious to see what is the peak weight of AJ, because he won't cut at all being this fight at HW. I am guessing 225-230.

its definitely at HW and i bet Rumble comes in 230-240 and has a very good chance of winning, which will show just how good Kos and Belfort are.

Am I the only one who finds it strange how Rumble went from WW to HW in a year and still looks as ripped as ever?

Hoping for a vintage Pitbull KO.

i just dont understand why WSOF would want one of the two most important people in their "organization" to lose. if i was soto i would want rumble and arlovski to crush as many cans as possible to build them up and make them more marketable. dont understand.

They need people to watch their show first and foremost. Let's not pretend that Johnson or Arlovski have some untouchable aura at this juncture or that they haven't already gotten win streaks from outmatched opponents. You can either have two popular fighters fight each other or each have them fight someone they will dismantle with nothing to lose like on their last show. Fans have seen Rumble and Arlovski fight someone they have never heard of on regional shows for a little while now. They are the only well known fighters in their division and clearly by taking this are showing they want to do a big fight. This fight is a lot more interesting than watching them fight cans and won't be any more marketable if they have them each beat a can on this show.

I think by WSOF booking this fight, they are showing they are not like all the other orgs out there who just had them in nothing showcase fights.
