Tbh I dont really know anything about wka nationals specifically but I would be prepared to do lots of waiting around and trying to keep warm between bouts.

Expect your opponent to charge across the ring and throw wild haymaker punches. Lots of novice fights are spaz-fests

this. be prepared for a lot of slugfest exchanges and hard clinching. stay relaxed in the clinch because its probably the best opportunity you have to conserve energy

Agree it will be a bit of a brawl fest, id expect ts has had a smoker or two!? ..The clinch is no place for resting!

Done an Mma fight, boxing smokers but never Muay Thai... Cardio is up... So I shouldn't expect any sandbaggers where all of a sudden I'm facing badr hari

That does happen. Some guys fail to disclose their previous boxing/karate/tkd matches or their fights in Thailand when they're applying to fight as novices.
