Platinum "options"
I'm going to level with you guys here. I enjoy the benefits of a Platinum membership -- it's very cheap and comes with a variety of neat perks that make it worth while. I think it's worth having and trust me -- if anyone reading this purchases it they won't regret it. That being said, there's a couple of things I wish were "optional."
- I hate the big green names. I really do. I understand that the blue names are reserved for the mods (and look totally bad ass), but I really wish there were an option in the User CP to just keep my name in the normal, white lettering. Almost like a ninja-plat -- or an undercover plat.
- I like having my normal sherdog belt/rank, but when I upgrade to the platinum service I lose that. I would really like to be able to keep this as an option, as well, since the custom belt requirements are steeper than they use to be. Look, I've spent countless hours of my [presumably] precious life on this website, and I want a belt/rank that denotes as much.
- Basically, I want to have my cake and eat it, too. I want all the benefits of platinum membership without any of the "detriments" I have outlined here.
Any thoughts? Do I need to donate my offspring in order to get these things to occur? Am I a tree falling in the forrest with no one around?
