BJJ or Judo gyms in SF that have laundry service?
I'm considering a move to SF, which is incredibly expensive, so quite possibly will move somewhere without a washer. Rather than lug my gi to a laundromat, I'd choose a gym that offers a laundry service. Basically time over money, since my job would be very busy but pay well.
Are there any BJJ or Judo gyms that offer this? It'd be nice to not have to haul gi around.

That's the first time I heard of such service in any school...
Or, are you trolling?

Offering gi washing is super easy, profitable, and benefits everyone in the gym. The best way is to just buy a handheld steamer at walmart or target for about 30 bucks. This way you can hang and steam the gis clean all at once.
Spraying them with diluted fabric softener helps them hang dry less stiff, but is even better if you wait til they hang dry all the way, mist them with the diluted softener and then through them in a dryer for 5 min tops.
An individual can run this service very easily and charge 5 or 10 bucks a week. It doesn't have to be the gym owner doing all the work so if this sounds doable for you then go offer it to your instructor!

Good business idea, but a few things...
First is that you want to wash the gi, not steam or even dry clean. You pick up a lot of dirt and smells, so it's not just about killing the germs.
Next is that both high temperatures and softeners degrade your gi faster.
Lastly, I am looking for a service like this, not to run it!

Laundry service? Laundromat? Just buy a washing machine, you can get a used one for next to nothing on Craigslist.

Old cities like SF have lots of places without hookups for a washer.
