Are you talking about Takaya? Takaya's not the best featherweight outside the UFC and not even top 3 possibly.
Curran, Pitbull and Straus are better featherweights than Takaya.
Georgi is a really good fighter, I'm surprised he hasn't been signed by the UFC yet and I'm surprised they're not interested in signing him.

if someone like bryan bloodworth can get signed there's no reason why a 20-3 fighter with excellent wins shouldn't be signed.

I want to see Georgi/Kawajiri in the near future. Wether it be in the UFC or somewhere else.

I have no idea why he's not on the UFC's most wanted list.
Outside of Pat Curran and Patricio Freire, Karakhanyan is the best FW not in the UFC.

Strauss and possibly Shabat Shabulaev(sp?) would prolly beat him.

Let's see if he can beat Kawajiri before talking about UFC.

Kawajiri is better than some of the UFC featherweights, so I don't Georgi's UFC contract should be measured by a win over Kawajiri.

King Mo is better than some UFC LHWs
Chandler is better than some UFC LWs
Does that mean if you want to enter the UFC you have to beat them?
I'd love to see Karakhanyan vs Kawajiri, but the fact remains, he should be in the UFC.

Takaya was top 1 or 2 FW outside Zuffa after he defeated Bibi a while back. He had a loss from then until now but rebounded well and had big wins like when he defeated Lion Takeshi. Bibi followed by Takaya were top FWs outside Zuffa before Pat Curran was even a FW fighter. Takaya was either number 1 or number 2 outside Zuffa when Georgi took him out on NYE. Georgi is now either 1 or 2 outside UFC. He has a lot of big wins in his career, held a spot at around top 6 or top 7 while he was Tachi champ and then took out one of the top FWs. Georgi is number 2 FW outside Zuffa only behind Pat Curran. Rankings are mainly about who you beat and where they are ranked when you beat them. There are a number of other factors but this is the main factor.
