Fair enough, do you happen to have a link to an explicit explanation of water manipulation as a cutting method?

Damn! 3 weeks out and still 12 lbs to lose. Abs are visible so I'm guessing my body fat is quite low. Worried I wont make the weight. Might have to give away a possible height/reach advantage and fight at the weightclass above

If you're water loading, don't cut salt until 2 days before weigh ins. It could have some detrimental effects.

Yup. People don't take weight cutting seriously enough. It is dangerous. It was along those lines I suggested he NOT drink 3 gallons per day, and to limit the water load to one week out. (and cut salt 2 days before the weigh in).

Now some people take it too serious (I have to cut 3 lbs in 6 weeks! What am I going to do!!!!)
