Nope, it's issued by the place where you likely closed when you bought the house. It's assurance that title to your property is good and that there are no liens or defects of title on it. You probably received an Owner's Title Insurance policy when you bought the house. For every loan, the bank gets Lender's Title Insurance to make sure their loan is first lien and that there aren't other liens on the property. Unlike other insurance, you just pay the premium once. It isn't something you pay monthly or annually. You probably got your actual Owner's Policy in the mail a couple months after purchasing your home. You should bring that to your lender when you refinance for when they order title work. You'll get a reissue discount and other discounts for having previous title insurance on the Loan Policy (although the Loan Policy is for the bank, you will actually be paying for it).

A guy from an online betting site just left me a voicemail. He said they miss me and would like to put some money in my account to get me back on their site. Frankie Edgar at +190 seems like a good time to do that. What do you guys think?

They do that?! How much money were you spending with them???
I have to agree as far as upsets go Frankie is about the best one you can bet on. I've got all the respect in the world for Jose but I'm pulling for Frankie in this fight big time.

Yep. I never even spent alot of money with them. I think I only put in $50 to start it and when I did they gave me an extra $10 as part of some promotion. I built it up to maybe three or four hundred dollars betting on mma and then lost it all when the Seahawks beat the Saints in the playoffs in 2011. So it's been two years and they are calling me again. They've left me voicemails in the past a time or two.
Alot of times just asking for things from people in the gambling industry can get you some free stuff. Same for porn or drugs, they'd love to give you a little for free at the start because they know it'll end up being profitable for them in the long run.

I think if you're gambling enough to get voicemails from online betting sites, maybe you shouldn't be.

Yeah the casinos down in Gulfport were the same way. As soon as you'd won a little north of 2-300 bucks they'd start comping you rooms and what not. My friend was a pretty avid card guy so I rode those coat tails a good bit. Skanks. Skanks errewhere.

Whoa Butler snuck up there. Good for them. Brad Stevens is really putting in some work. Given the conference they operate in I feel we'll be seeing them in the top 15 more and more often.
Not that anyone cares, since it's college ball but it's real to me, dammit.
Unrelated, did anyone else think the Bob's Burger/Archer thing was really cheap marketing??

Speaking of getting stuff for free... my boss and his good friend took their families on a cruise last winter. The friend loves to gamble and is actually an excellent poker player. He took $1000 with him for gambling and left with $5000. Pretty sweet but there's more.
About a month later the cruise line contacted him and offered him a free cruise for this winter, just for him. He had already booked a winter family vacation so he asked the cruise line to comp his entire family (wife and 2 young kids, the kids might be free anyway actually) and they went for it.
