How stiff/hard is the the boon belly pad in comparison to other pads?

It is harder than Windy, Twins, and Fairtex belly pad in my opinion.

are there any comfortable ones, or do they all feel like you strapped a wood board on your belly?

It's pretty stiff, but you can take a full on straight knee with you a Thai pad.

Funny, I have that one actually. IMO it's pretty stiff, but I don't have much experience with belly pads.

wonder if that's why they're made so stiff. kind of similar to how thai headgear is harder because of the shins and elbows you take to the head.
are boxing body protector's more pliable?
the full body protectors freddie roach wears looks pretty comfortable, although those probably cost and arm and a leg
