What the bleep? Butterbean has 8 wins by submission.

He's 17-10-1, 6 KO, 8 SUB.

All the submissions seem to be something a guy of Butterbean's body shape can easily pull off.

When I heard he fought in MMA I figured it was like Kimbo or Toney. I was wondering why he would agree to join in a boxing match where when he's knocked down the other fighter can keep hitting him, that's why it blew my mind he had 8 submissions.

Has a pro-boxer ever successfully gotten into MMA? I only ever hear people talk about peoples boxing, not that they were actual boxers who were doing something.

ufc legends Marcus Davis, Maldonado, KJ Noons, A Silva were pro boxers who successfully made the transition.
Jeremy Williams went undefeated in his MMA career.

Butterbean obviously has limitations due to his heft and his age but he is a freak of nature. He's freakishly powerful, tough, and also athletic for his size. I can imagine if somehow all 400 or so lbs ends up on top of you and he's armed with just a little submission skills, it would be a pretty overwhelming experience.
