Wilson made movies but he was a legitimate kickboxer. I remember when the talk of him fighting Hoyce happened. The issue is that the early UFC kickboxers were pretty bad. Some of them gasses in one minute. I would have given him a better chance against Hoyce than Toney had against Couture.

Yeah, his kickboxing record is legit. His films may be pretty shitty, even by B-action standards, but he's a genuine legend in the sport. I seem to recall he used to say he'd actually take part in the UFC if someone matched his price, which was so ridiculously high it was pretty clear he had no intention of actually stepping into the cage.
