Quick, high protein, inexpensive snacks
I know, I'm not asking for much right?
Thing is I'm a student, and I'm on the go a lot with lectures/lessons, training, working etc.
I usually take with me a pasta cooked in dolmio tomato and pepperoni sauce, refrigerated overnight in tupperware with me for lunch, but I need more ideas. I can't deal with dry meats, makes it really tough to eat and off putting.
I'm going to buy some more whey soon and always have a shake on hand but I'd just like to know what your daily meals/snacks are for high protein content?
Thanks

I've googled it numerous times and found a list of generic things from a mens health article, nothing specific. I was wondering what anyone would suggest or what they normally make ?

While in school i ate a lot of boiled eggs. Beans w/ ground turkey, flavor how you like. I always had a shake, or at least a shake mix, on me. Like, I had my bottle with a dry mix then would just fill it at a fountain. mostly did this pwo in the morning, though. carried some chicken breast and spinach wraps for lunch pretty often, too. I basically always had a "sack" lunch in my bag, lol. Just snacked on it throughout the day. Cottage cheese, too. Small Tuber-wear(sp) is your friend.

There's a cheap snacks/foods thread here, on page 2 or something.

milk, peanut butter, nuts, avocados, beef jerky, home made protein bars (really simple to make), oatmeal (just need water), cheese, edamame beans, eggs, cold cut meats.
