Just make sure what you have isn't contagious. I remember when 2/3 of team was out with the flu. Sucks when your randori options become limited.

Say guys, is Judo becoming more visible to the MMA audience? I mean they finally realize that Judo trips (If your going to say anything bout its "wrestling trips" we all know well they are not the best leg trippers in the world... lol) are the most over used take down in the fight game along with Wrestling's Single/Double leg takedown. I think it is... People finally are seeing the difference.

Yeah I was more run down on a lack of sleep rather than having a virus or a cold. Even still I was in two minds about going and once I went I was not 100 percent focused and I've ended with an injury, which totally sucks.

What I also wanted to say is that I like the way they bow to the crowd as well. And also, when they bow to each other, they do it properly. Not half arsed like you see in many competitions. Nice to see.

As a guess I'd say that all forms of drop seoi-nage are banned at u12 as the rule was introduced to encourage more stand up style judo and reduce injuries. However, even if it is legal I wouldn't trust most refs to know that and end up DQ'ing someone for it anyway.

I don't think so, as long as you don't touch the legs.

What grade are you?
