Didn't watch and I didn't plan to watch either, but I might check it out now to see who I give the nod to.
Honestly, I've never found Guida to be as exciting as other people (at least before the Maynard fight). I tend to zone out during Clay's fights at some point.
Cliffs: Hioki said that Guida beat him in a wrestling match.
I will never understand how Guida wins fights by bouncing sporadically and laying on top of guys. He does little to no damage. I think its all the hair shaking that convinces judges that he's being active and aggressive. Cut it off and he looks like a fool out there.
So the Unified Rules state that laying on someone and landing nothing scores higher than someone outstriking you on the feet by a 10 to 1 ratio and doing 99% of the damage.
The rules state that "who ever lays on top longest wins!!"
That is news to me
Let me re-phrase, as Unified rules was probably the wrong term to use for the reason:
Based on the current Judging Critiera for takedowns and Octagon control, I thought Guida won the fight.

Insane to see Guida-san become one of the most disliked fighters over night.
Did you see the Pettis fight? Then the Maynard fight? Then the Hioki fight?
How many horrendous performances does he have to give before people stop defending them as flukes? 10 in a row? Why do people keep pretending this came out of nowhere?
Guida is a horrible representative of the sport. Epitome of point-fighting. "Great footwork" people said to Dana White... haha what a bunch of MORONS.
It is insane, and pretty funny to see how much hate one fighter in one division can get so many fans MAD even though they can look forward to a million other fights
