Ronda Rousey: How nice is it to never have to make weight? Or do you actually have to cut? Is there like – cause there’s a maximum right?
Alistair Overeem: Yeah, yeah, yeah I do cut. Before the Brock fight I was like 275-280. For this fight I also have to cut a little bit. I’m a little bit over 265. But yeah it’s wonderful just to just eat whatever you want, cause first I was fighting light heavy(weight), I had to cut, I was 220 and I had to drop to 215, so it was only water, salads. You know how it is, you know how it is.

Reem also said in his most recent episode of his documentary that he has gained weight. He'll be the bigger man on Saturday night.

I was saying cardio speed and technique are needed more in mma thats why they are lighter than wrestlers generally..you got my point just backwards I guess.I wrestled my entire child hood and eventually at a very high level this stuff just seems simple to me

It's more the fact that he's overweight in the heaviest division there is than the number attached to the cut. Dassa big muhfuh.

Lesnar 6'3" 263lbs
Overeem 6'4" 266lbs
Bigfoot 6'4" 270lbs?
But agree when you're talking about HWs lbs don't matter, 252lb (18st) 266lbs (19st) isn't a lot at that size. Guessing by the time they fight both will be 270lbs+
Interesting picture, Reem, Bigfoot, Arlovski, Werdum, Barnett & co, Arlovski looks strangely taller though!
