I was recommended to check out Top Kings (not specific type) and Fairtex SP5. Most people on here seem to go for Top Kings so which type would be best and how do they compare to the SP5?
Cheers for all the help so far guys.

i dont do MMA but from what ive heard, Top Kings may be too bulky for grappling. should be good protection though (which is important if you want to train frequently).

They feel very bulky although they do not in anyway restrict movement. I do like that they are also very light and very well made. Top kings are the only shin guards I've used/own and only use whilst light sparring.

ive been using the cloth ones for over two years now and my shins still get lumped up whenever they slip down and it ends up being bone on bone. kick the heavy bag if you want shin conditioning.
btw, cloth shin guards suck!
