Push Press felt better today, but still needs work. I took steps on 2 of the reps at 185, with better technique I can get a few more reps at that weight for sure.

Nice job Miaou!! Congrats on the PR - progress is progress, even if its only 2.5kg.

This takes our team total on video to 46.3 pounds.

I really appreciate you guys getting all the lifts on video - makes my job easy!

Haven't posted in a while since I took a deload week and have been doing a bunch of jiu-jitsu.

Last week I tried speed deadlifting with chains for the first time. That was kind of fun but I don't think the chains were heavy enough to make a very big difference.

Tonight I did:
Press:
95X5, 115x5, 125x5, 145x5
Deadlift (conventional):
135x5, 225x5, 285x5, 335x5, 370x10

I honestly thought 370x5 was going to be a struggle today because my hips and back felt all stiff from sitting at the office. But I decided to do an AMRAP set and I got to 10. Probably could have done a couple more before actual failure, but I was happy with 10. These were full stop deadlifts though, I took 5-10 seconds to reset and breathe in between reps.

Next week's press/pull workout will be:
Press:
120x3, 135x3, 150xAMRAP (going for 5)
Deadlift:
305x3, 350x3, 395xAMRAP (PB is 5, going for 7)

Meh. First workout with my new belt that I got for Christmas. Loved it.

Tuesday

Press: 110x4, 125x3, 145x3
Ew. Failed. Again. Need more strength midway through the movement--maybe more tricep work?

Deadlift (belted): 245x3, 280x3, 315x5 (Rep PR!)
Pumped. Also, belted deadlifting is much more comfortable than without.

Side bends.

Took a vid of seated GMs for form check. I moved my legs closer to eliminate any leg drive and i tried to go as low as i can without the bar rolling forward. Any comments are welcome.
