When and where can we see these "dogs" in the "enclosed pool area".

All kinds of this. The match was uninspired to say the least. Hell, I was at least expecting The Rock to kick out of the Shield beating.

Rock is about to do the media tour for GI JOE hitting every major entertainment outlet and talk show. You know how much free mainstream publicity its gonna bring the WWE with him taking the title on his media tour. That alone will bring more prestige to the belt than CM Punk did during his entire reign.

I doubt producers will want anything to do with the WWE. It's almost as taboo as working in porn.

You're on point with this post. I'm sure the media will bring it up but producers and movie execs don't want much to do with it. Don't forget that when Rocky first went into acting full time, he even tossed away his wrestling name, The Rock, and went only by Dwayne Johnson. Remember, they want the focus to be on the film, not on his wrestling career.

I don't think the Rock will be carrying his belt around with him, although I'm sure Vince would love for him to do that...only time will tell.

So my thoughts on the Rumble and main event. The Rumble itself wasn't bad, very cool to see Goldust return and go after Cody. Was hoping Godfather would come back out as Papa Shango ala the three faces of Foley. Cena going over Ryback I feel was fucking bullshit, moreso than Rocky winning the title. Cena came in at 19, and STILL took out a fresh Ryback that entered at 30. What in the flying fuck kind of booking is that??? WWE has spent damn near a year doing nothing but building Ryback as this huge monster, the next big thing if you will, yet a tired Super Cena STILL eliminates him and wins the Rumble. Ryback winning could have easily been the beginning of FIRMLY establishing him in the main event for the long run, but no, Cena wins.

Yes, I mad.

The Rock taking the title, really, isn't that big a deal to me. IF he manages to keep the title past this next week or so, I get the feeling some kind of special schedule has been arranged between him and the company to work more dates leading up to either Elimination Chamber or all the way to 'Mania. I still say he's not keeping the title past either tonight or next Monday though.

I respectively disagree. How many movie ties have we had with Monday Nite Raw?
Just off the top of my head; Macgruber, Jeremy Piven and naked chinese guy from The Hangover, Wolverine punching Ziggler, the dude from the 3 STooges doing a great Hulkster impersonation and the crowd no selling the shit out of it. RAmpage and the A-team.

I am pretty sure, the posters on here can add more to my list.

That's a bit different though. They go on RAW to promote the movie to a wide audience. They use the WWE. Not the other way around. The Rock will not be bringing the belt on his promotional tour for any movie. I'll guarantee it. Producers gain nothing from it.

The ads will not read "Starring The New WWE Champion The Rock".
