The funny thing is that your head is clear as a bell. Your head is screaming move but your legs say no can do. You just crumple to the ground. So you lay there think WHAT IS HAPPENING. It is spooky but not that serious.
Dude, that's right on the money.

I can take kidney shots pretty well, but a good liver hook, kick or knee is absolutely destructive. Boxer Steve said it well.
My training partner (2x German Kickboxing Champ) explained it to me (he's a master of this shot).
It's like a blood pump when you hit it, pressure goes up, and then the pressure goes down as it refills. Thats why your limbs feel like rubber.
I liken it to a power meter getting cut by 50% in a video game. Deadly.

Is the 'Liver Shot' more effective because it is more painful? Or does a 'Liver Shot' cause the body to undergo a 'shutdown' reaction due to the liver being 'shocked'?

All comments are appreciated. Thanks guys.
hi Old Fogey,

you know when you feel a painful stabbing pain in your intestines, and you sit and strain on the toilet....sweating...thinking you're going to die, and out comes this tiny stool - its the size of a Vienna Sausage.

and the pain is gone. you look at that stool and wonder, how did such a tiny thing cause so much distress and agony?

thats what a liver shot is like.
