I've always found the fight matrix rankings to be..interesting. However, that said, the fact remains that the UFC needs flyweights, and Sampo has proven himself extremely capable of hanging with, and beating, top level talent. I was honestly surprised he wasn't signed after the Banuelos fight.

Haven't seen the fight, just the result. Not very knowledgable on the flyweights, but I do keep tabs on the Flys who are perhaps close to being signed.

Montague, Sampo, Vila, Santella, Alexandre Pantoja, Sergio Pettis, Sem Chance, Lopes, Mamoru, Docyogen, Kojima.
All these guys need to get signed by UFC.

Sampos fought the toughest guys not in the UFC. Buenelos, vila and compazano all in the last year. Going 2-1! Hes also the most exciting flyweight not signed. He has never turned down a fight, Dana needs to call him up!
