Bradley vs. Floyd would be about 10 times the fight that Guerrero vs. Floyd is

Someone claiming to be Floyd Sr (twitter)says that Floyd is fighting Canelo in may. Saw it on ESPN. Not sure how much of that twitter garbage is for real.

The thing is leading up to fights, floyd always has random names thrown in there. Each time though he ends up going with the best guy available. I really don't see him taking on guerrero, I do see bradley or canelo. Bradley would be tough because he works for Bob Arum tho.

Sums up my perspective on the matchup. Bradley/Gamboa is a freakshow fight. Probably an eccentric stay-busy fight for Bradley. There's no way Gamboa, who's been dropped by guys his size, doesn't get stopped before the fifth against a solid welterweight like Tim. If Gamboa does this fight, he's putting his health and therefore his career at risk.
50 Cent is, as you said, an idiot. I thought the idea of matching Gamboa with Floyd was a joke on his part. Looks like he really is intent on matching Gamboa with way bigger dudes. The Bradley fight is a little less retarded a match up than Floyd but it's still retarded.

I thought the official line on that was Floyd Sr. doesn't use Twitter and that those accounts are all fakes. That ESPN would report from fake twitter accounts is laughable.

You're both saying the same thing from two different mental states about the matter. One thinks the Pacquiao fans are noble and innocent, the other thinks they're batshit.

Yeah, no. This is another rewrite of the tired "after this era, boxing will be dead" argument. Boxing will move on from Floyd and Pacquiao. Maybe that's what you fanboys on both sides truly fear.

Bradley is the best fight out there for him but this is what I fear.

For some odd reason, I don't see this as much of an issue (at least from Arum's perspective.)
If Bradley loses to Mayweather.. who cares, who doesn't... It's not like Bradley is any sort of major draw anyways.
If he some how beats him.. Arum has the fighter that beat two of the top boxers of this era in two consecutive fights in his stable.
Plus he makes some quick cash while he's doing it.
.. Not sure if Mayweather cares to share the money with Bob Arum though, especially since his fighter is not really a draw.

50 Cent grew up in NYC projects and is now worth 100s of millions of dollars. I don't think he's an idiot. He may not be intelligent in the classical sense, but somewhere beneath that Yankees fitted and do rag is a mind that gets it.

None of that has anything to do with matchmaking in boxing.
