Yoshihiro Sato?

Whats up with him. He seems very skilled. He can beat the best fighters but he can also lose to random people... Whats up with that?

Fighting Kenta on the 26th. He's past his prime for sure.

As Masato put it once: too slow and too little charisma to attract people. Could have been a successor for Masato, certainly had skills for it, Japan wasn't up for it though.

He isn't really popular enough, neither amongst hardcore fans or the Japanese, to actually acknowledge the fact he got robbed a couple times back in the day. He is a much better fighter than his resume indicates, but at the same time he is still extremely limited. He isn't technically very good, relies on his size, power and chin a lot, but has the good sense to use almost exclusively straight punches and has solid kicks (much like Schilt in virtually every regard).

I am a fan of Sato.I like his style of fighting, he uses a lot of lowkicks and knees. And he has fought in Thailand full muay thai rules against top Thai fighters. And has beaten Buakaw in k1. Has Masato done that?No he would be destroyed. But now he loses against people who he would have beaten in his prime.I wanted him to win the k1 max final against Petrosyan. But i knew Petrosyan was just another lever. Still he made it to the k1 max final. I hope i can see the Sato of the good old days again soon.

Okay my bad. But Sato ko'd Buakaw. The only fighter to do that. Could Masato do that?

He's definitely been robbed on a few occasions. His style isn't suited that well of a scoring perspective on the kickboxing stage. He also seems like one of those fighters who is hot and cold at times.

Poor guy Sato.
He got robbed against Masato in 2008,
how could the judge score it a draw and went an extra round
is beyond my comprehension....Damn K1 judging!
