You know, I never realised how common steroids and prohormones were until I started working in a commercial gym. It's mostly young guys who just want to look good taking them too (in this environment, anyway).

They can't close any loopholes. The reason being is because they'll never quite be ahead of the curve of chemistry, and every time a chemist creates a new compound, they have to go through the motions of legally defining it.
Which reminds me, there's not really such a thing as a prohormone market any longer. What circulates now are mostly synthetic and do not work as intraglandular precursors as much as they work directly, and thus, they're just hormones.

mdrol (aka Superdrol) is a methylated version of drostanlone (which King-Mo got busted for) which back in the 1950s scientists found it to be the most hepatoxic hormone they had come across (not sure if this is still true). Because of this, the government purposely did not ban it in the 80s citing that it was so toxic that nobody would actually take it. Of course, the limited research I did on PH/DS was years ago and I could be mixing my stories.
But, if you're a good friend, you'll steal your buddy's mdrol and flush it down a toilet. Better yet, have it disposed of by a biohazard team.

What I was getting at is what companies are calling "prohormones" nowadays are simply synthetic steroids if you look at what they are and how they work. No more complicated than that.
