How can you have an over/under on whether or not something will happen? Anyway, it's a wrestling wedding so it obviously won't go off without a hitch. I'm hoping for a Bully heel turn. I mean sure he only just turned face, but since when has that mattered in TNA.
If Devon were to come out and they put Brooke through a table, would that technically be a heel turn? I know I'd pop like hell for that.

Both Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund are on the list of considerations for this years Hall of Fame class. Sammartino has turned down offers from WWE in the past for an induction, but word is that Triple H is personally trying to make the induction happy and may even fly to Pittsburgh for a face to face meeting if it will make the deal happen.
Bob Backlund's name has also popped up again due to his history with Madison Square Garden. The report is WWE has reached out to him but no word on if he's accepted.
Word is that there have been discussions within WWE to induct the Kliq (Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman) into the WWE Hall of Fame. The group has members in both DX and the nWo, which have both been discussed as possible inductees.
Me too. The worst one was easily the Lesnar Rumble. Lesnar/Holly as the main event was just sad. I can't believe Hardcore Holly actually main evented a PPV. Good worker and all, but c'mon. At the peak of his popularity, he was about as over Nunzio. I can't remember if Kurt/Benoit was on this one or not. If so, it was only saving grace of the PPV. One of the best pure wrestling matches of all time.
One that surprised me was the 2007 RR. Umaga/Cena was shockingly awesome, and the Rumble was spectacular, minus Khali being in the midst of his huge push, and headbutting everyone in the arena into boredom. Shawn and Taker at the end was incredible, and was like a main event in itself. This was a year where I was out of the loop too, so I had no idea who won beforehand.
Another moment I loved in one of them, was Jericho getting pissed at Tommy Dreamer and his kendo stick, after Dreamer nearly took Jericho's eye out with the stick. Jericho was fuming. I think he tried to toss Dreamer into the crowd, when he eliminated him. Hilarious.
I've watched about six of them in the past two weeks. I really miss chairshots to the head, and blood.
Kurt vs benoit happened at the rumble that lesnar won not the one he wrestled holly for the strap. I still remember the spot where benoit violently ddt'd angle on the ring apron and you could see he got his bell rung bad, and think he might have even had a concussion from it. Speaking of terrible championship matches at the rumble i see your holly vs lesnar and raise you a triple h vs scott steiner. Jesus was that match terrible.

HHH already went and met with Bruno Sammartino back in December in Pittsburgh.

Yes, that was by far one of the worst, if not the worst, RR Championship match in the history of the RR. It was nothing but a botchfest and the same suplexes over and over again. I recall there were like 20 suplexes in that match...so bad. Thanks for reminding me of that horrible mess

Oh' yeah, that was way worse than Holly/Lesnar now that I think about it. Steiner was about as over as a fart in church, and was completely out of shape. He couldn't sell shit, 'cause he was sucking wind so badly. Trips must've been fuming backstage, after that garbage. I think it was pretty much the beginning of the end of Steiner's WWE tenure.
But yeah, the Angle/Benoit match was fucking incredible. The crowd was so into it as well. When Benoit hit that German suplex that flipped Angle over on his belly, you'd think the glass just shattered, and Austin was coming to the ring. I also really loved how Angle used to win cleanly with that ankle lock, even as heel. When he grapevines the leg, it's all over.
I think tonight, or tomorrow I'll watch the Undertaker/Micheals casket match RR. It's another one, where I can't remember a damn thing about it. It's either going to be that one, or the one where Edge/Micheals opened the show.

Steiner stunk of the joint bad in his run with the E.
The Angle/Benoit match, to me, is the best match of the 2000s and one of the best wrestling matches I've ever seen. The crowd was completely in the palms of Angle and Benoit. That DDT on the mat bloodied Angle's nose and yes, that overhead German suplex drove the crowd into overdrive. Not to mention Angle's running up to the turnbuckle to throw Benoit over his head and back on the mat took the crowd's breath away. Heck, I remember watching it for the first time and it took my breath away. Also, the Boston crowd (I believe it was Boston) gave Benoit a legit STANDING OVATION as he left the ring which is rare to see for the loser of a ME.
