At this point, if he is going to side with TLI over his own family, after what TLI has done to his family (and basically accepted happening to this girl if they saw video and didn't independently call the police), then he has his priorities in the wrong place.

He'll never have my support then. No matter what he wins or how cutting edge his techniques would be, he'll always be on my "do not support" list.

I didn't suggest anyone was lying. Callos seems to me like a very respectable man and I certainly have no reason to suspect that he would make that up. I just hadn't heard about that until now. Was this posted on his FB page?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see now. I've been trying to limit the amount of time I spend following this just for my own mental and psychological well being. This is all still moving really quickly.

A clarification, too, about those kids bragging about the rape they had committed (as I mentioned in a previous post). These boys, according to what I was told, didn't come home and brag about "raping" the girl, but bragged to their roommates they had engaged in a consensual threesome. I do believe and have faith that had they told their roommates what actually went down, according to the report by the police, they would have, themselves, called the authorities.

I don't believe their roommates, including my son, were accomplices or knew it the details until the police confronted them.

It wasn't my intent to implicate the boys who didn't commit the rape --in the rape --or in being fully aware of the brutality and details of the event.

Well, that is a very good clarification. It helps some.

The fact that the two rapists thought it would be cool to show all their friends is fucked up enough. More information will probably come out later. But it's not fair to assume that the other guys tried to cover it up unless there is some credible evidence otherwise.

As repulsed as I am by this whole situation, I don't want to see reputations get ruined over baseless speculation. Everyone who has been roasted so far has deserved it 100%. But we don't know anything else about the reaction to that video so let's not automatically assume the worst.
