The quality of the match ups will really depend on whether or not Arum seriously wants to compete with GB's supercard, or just get another paycheck before the milk runs dry.
If we know Manny, JMM and Donaire are guaranteed, I can also picture Gamboa and Rigo making an appearance. I wonder if Arum has the balls to match up either one of them with Donaire? I would buy that on its own. The only way Donaire vs Gamboa happens is if Arum is still hurting from Gamboa's little stunt, and got worried after getting knocked down twice in his last fight. There are some signs there indicating Arum is happy to throw Gamboa under a bus.

Sad news, Sanchenko is currently the top runner to fight Manny. Bam Bam Rios is also being considered as well as Humberto Soto and Jessie Vargas. Rios sounds fine enough to me, but I hope they're just winding people up like they often do.
The plan was to originally stage a Manny, JMM, and Donaire headlined card in Manilla. That's been scuttled and the locations now being considered are: Singapore, Macau and Abu Dhabi. Very interesting to note these three locations are currently major growth zones for boxing, all of which are regions the commissions want are looking to create a Vegas/Germany style presence. It's also funny to see Wlad and Vitali also leaving their usual stomping ground and targeting Ghana. It looks like boxing's top stars are finally looking to grow the sport rather than relying on the same area for income. I would assume Manilla is out of the question since boxing has already conquered that country. No point.
Sad news though, Sanchenko is currently the top runner to fight Manny. Bam Bam Rios is also being considered.

To be honest, I'm not sure I would like to see Manny up against such an elite boxer like Bradley right now. I liked to see it instead of the fourth marquez fight but now? I don't know.
Give the man a tune-up fight and after that the bradley fight.
Never mind another marquez fight at all. Just don't do it.

I think it has something to do with Jon Jones only fighting shot/past their prime fighters... fits Donaire lol.
Actually it could be interpreted two ways.
first off Jon Jones only fights guys that are shot and way past their prime, and he's also a heavyweight fighting in a lower weight class beating up on midgets that are half his size... which also fits Donaire LOL.

Jones fights in an empty division though, he can't really choose the quality of his opponents. Other than that he's not really a heavyweight. He's noticeably a naturally skinny guy, hence the nickname "Bones" which he got for being too skinny for one of those NFL type uniforms.

Machida is not past his prime, Ryan Bader was in his prime, as was Brandon Vera...
And JBJ also humiliated the fu*k out of the last 3 former/present champs in Rashad, SHogun and Rampage...
His credentials are legit. They will take a step back though...with this ridiculous fight with Sonnen.

Factually wrong on all counts...not surprising coming from you.
And by the way..this is the epitome of "fighter bashing."

Shogun was coming off knee surgery and 10 months off, and he's never been the same. Rampage was past his prime and is past his prime, he just lost to Ryan Bader recently. Machida has been Knocked out by Shogun and lost to Rampage. Rashad was his biggest win. Then he fights a middleweight in Vitor Belfort.
Everything is so much like Donaire. Shogun is similar to Nishikoa. Machida is similar to Vasquez Jr., and Belfort is like Narvaez a skilled fighter but too small.
He doesn't have much choice in selecting who he fights and those guys are unfortunately all he has left.

As BoxingScene.com recently reported, there are plans in motion to stage an April show, either on April 13 or April 20, with Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez in separate fights - either from the same location or from different venues.
Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) and Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs) are going to have tuneup bouts to further hype a potential fifth meeting in September. On December 8th they met for a fourth time and Marquez knocked Pacquiao out in the sixth round. Most outlets voted their match as the "Fight of The Year."
The two possible opponents being mentioned for both are Jessie Vargas (21-0, 9KOs) and Vyacheslav Senchenko (33-1, 22KOs).
Pacquiao's longtime trainer, Freddie Roach, is not on board with a tuneup fight. He would rather have Pacquiao rest, train, and then go straight into a fifth fight with Marquez in September.
"They're talking about a tuneup fight in Macau right now, with him and Marquez on the show together against different opponents and then a rematch in September........that's being negotiated right now. The thing is, I don't really want the tuneup fight. I would rather just go straight into to the fifth fight. I don't think a guy of Pacquiao's level needs a tuneup fight. Thing is, he's going to get right back on the horse. The first thing he said to me [after the loss to Marquez] - we need to do it one more time,"
