Quick SMR to start. Feeling pretty good. Knees are a little shot from basketball yesterday.

Low bar didn't feel as good today as it did last Saturday. Bar didn't seem to be sitting quite right in the sense that I didn't feel quite as tight. Bar speed felt great though.

Tightness/bit of an ache in my left shoulder at first, but once I tightened up my form, it felt much better. Very happy with how my form felt on the bench.

Super-set the rows and face-pulls. Dat pump.

Trained for 1.5 hours.

A little pooched today. Quick SMR to start as usual.

Squats felt strong for the first 4 singles or so. Next 5 were tough. Last one flew up though.

Messed around with some clean and jerks with 60kg before the pressing. Was showing some buddies technique.

Easy pressing.

Super-set the RDLs, face pulls, and ab work.

Going out snowboarding for the next three days. Intentions to get into a fitness club near the resort I'm staying at to get some upper body work (bench, press and accessory). Will save the lower body work for Monday.

Those squats look solid. As you mentioned your left knee gets a bit wobbly on the last few reps but it's nothing major. I'm slightly jealous of how consistent your squats are. Every rep is pretty bang on really.

Lifts look great toonie.

Seems like maybe your upper back could be tighter on the squats. Concentrating on that has helped me a lot.

Thanks for all the tips and comments, guys.

Small update. I was out snowboarding the last three days over in Montreal. Had a great time. Conditions weren't the best, but the slopes were still pretty great. Only had one nasty spill when I caught an edge and winded myself real good. Quick physical assessmant: sore/tight right calf, tendons on inside of both knees are tender, sore quads right above the knee cap, tender tail bone and ribs on the left side, achy right shoulder.

I had originally intended to get some work done at a fitness centre at my resort but ended up deciding against it. Lifting is going to be erratic this coming week too because I'm part of a wedding this coming weekend (so have a dinner rehearsal amongst other things).

Edit:

Here's what the slopes looked like on Saturday. It was like boarding through a ghost. Disorienting the first few runs since you couldn't see shit, but eventually got the hang of it and had a blast.

Quick 40min workout getting back into the swing of things. Haven't lifted in awhile because just plain busy and lazy. Still been active in other activities (rock climbing, snowboarding, basketball, skating, bowling), but time to get back into lifting.

Body was feeling pretty good. Right knee is a bit tender, but it felt fine after warming up. Wrist wraps on 250 and heavier, belt on 275 sets.

Benching felt phenomenal. Strong speed.

Will be lifting tomorrow AM. Plan is deadlifts, press, and a bunch of accessory.

Quick 1.5hr workout. Started with SMR. Body is pretty destroyed from yesterday. Also went skating for the first time this season for about 2 hours. Great time.

Form and speed felt phenomenal with the squat, just DOMS-y.

Press was easy.

Deadlifts started off easy, but started to feel gassed on the last 6 singles.

Haven't done weighted pull-ups in ages. They're great.

Had initially intended to do more accessory, but already had done a good amount of work and had to leave in order to do some tissue culture work at the lab.
